She had another child at age 40, her husband died soon after, stomach cancer, she imagined this differently. She comes home from vacation, a friend was examined in the hospital, diagnosed with cancer. At age 20 once in a while someone she knew crashed into a tree and died, now it's cancer. She tells me both her parents got sick when she was young, her mother had a brain tumor, she grew up with her grandparents. As a child she asked herself, why don't I have parents.
